Yea - you better be careful - there's a bit of gaga in every cup. You people boycotting Starbucks over this are ridiculous.
You talk a good game about how terrible she is and what a bad influence/role model she is for young America. really? Lady gaga is the worst influence ever? What about when Marilyn Manson stepped on the stage? Or the Bloodhound Gang let loose some really foul-mouthed material (check them out if you haven't if you can handle offensive. kinda catchy)- they were all the "worst" at their own time. But you know what? They were musicians with a unique way of portraying their talent and getting their message across. You don't like what they are doing? tough. They aren't going to go away just because you don't like them. Some people obviously do and they have just as much a right to enjoy that music as you do to enjoy your beliefs/activities. If you don't like it, don't support it. but don't make it about a company as a whole because it's not.
Which brings me to ...
You like the coffee, you buy the coffee. You likea da scone, you buya da scone. You (believe it or not) are an adult - most of the time - and as such you can *gasp* choose whether or not to listen to or buy any music found in any store. I mean shit, I bet any major music store sells any number of cds that are deemed "unacceptable" by Joe Bob's standards. You boycott them? No. You instead will head to whatever little music section you feel safe in and purchase what you enjoy. Slink in - Grab what product you want/like - leave happy. Same rules apply here dingbats. You don't like it, that's great. But don't fucking come on Facebook all high and mighty thinking that :
#1 - you won't be back there bright and early tomorrow morning for your skinny latte.
OR
#2 - your $4 coffee cutback per day is really going to hurt Starbucks as much as it will benefit you.
Go for a walk and cool off instead. Think about why you're really so upset about this. I know I will.
